{"id":3646,"date":"2024-12-02T16:48:38","date_gmt":"2024-12-02T15:48:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asimon.esy.es\/blog\/?p=3646"},"modified":"2024-12-02T16:48:38","modified_gmt":"2024-12-02T15:48:38","slug":"quel-pacte-pour-quelle-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asimon.eu\/blog\/enseignement\/quel-pacte-pour-quelle-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c9cole: quel \u00ab\u00a0pacte\u00a0\u00bb pour quelle \u00ab\u00a0excellence\u00a0\u00bb ?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La Belgique francophone est en train d&rsquo;accoucher, non sans peine, d&rsquo;une r\u00e9forme importante de son syst\u00e8me scolaire: elle l&rsquo;appelle \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20161205112627\/http:\/\/www.pactedexcellence.be:80\/le-pacte-c-est-quoi\/\">Pacte pour un enseignement d&rsquo;excellence<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manifestement indispensable, cette volont\u00e9 d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;enseignement se heurte, d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, \u00e0 quelques \u00e9cueils pr\u00e9visibles: lourdeur administrative, r\u00e9sistance naturelle au changement, statuts des enseignants, id\u00e9ologies divergentes, &#8230;<br>Le grand m\u00e9rite de ce &#8211; futur &#8211; pacte est d&rsquo;avoir refus\u00e9 une imposition par le haut, et privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 une approche concert\u00e9e de toutes les parties prenantes. Malheureusement, \u00e0 l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, on se retrouve avec un compromis qui ne satisfait pleinement personne, chacun faisant savoir qu&rsquo;il restera \u00ab\u00a0attentif\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la sauvegarde de ses int\u00e9r\u00eats. Bref, et h\u00e9las, l&rsquo;immobilisme, si j&rsquo;ose dire, est en marche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qui manque \u00e0 ce pacte, ce n&rsquo;est ni la volont\u00e9 d&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration, ni l&rsquo;imagination pour de nouveaux modes de fonctionnement. Pourtant, si n\u00e9cessaires qu&rsquo;ils soient, ceux-ci ne suffisent pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qui manque \u00e0 ce pacte, c&rsquo;est une vision consciente de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 dont l&rsquo;\u00e9cole, immanquablement, est le reflet, et une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9flexion sur le fondement m\u00eame de l&rsquo;enseignement, la relation p\u00e9dagogique entre l&rsquo;apprenant et l&rsquo;enseignant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le cadre: une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9rale.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de plus en plus lib\u00e9rale, dans le sens \u00e9conomique du terme, qui met un accent prononc\u00e9 sur la concurrence, la performance, la consommation, le profit, qui ne recule devant aucune forme d&rsquo;exclusion, ne pourra produire une \u00e9cole \u00e9galitaire, attach\u00e9e au d\u00e9veloppement harmonieux de chacun, capable d&rsquo;assurer \u00e0 tous une place utile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand le pacte dit vouloir assurer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019offre d\u2019enseignement, des comp\u00e9tences et savoirs offerts \u00e0 chaque \u00e9l\u00e8ve et adapt\u00e9s aux besoins de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du 21e si\u00e8cle<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>l&rsquo;objectif est plus de fournir une main d&rsquo;oeuvre pr\u00eate \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi que d&rsquo;ins\u00e9rer harmonieusement tous les jeunes dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui, au final, rejettera les plus faibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand le pacte dit qu&rsquo;il<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>ne visera pas seulement le renforcement de la performance des apprentissages mais aussi le renforcement de la passation des valeurs personnelles et collectives dont les jeunes auront besoin pour construire une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 humaniste telles que le respect de soi et de l\u2019autre, le respect de la diversit\u00e9 des histoires personnelles, des convictions et des origines culturelles de tous, le sens de l\u2019engagement et de la responsabilit\u00e9, de la solidarit\u00e9, de la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9, le sens de l\u2019effort, de la libert\u00e9, de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et de l\u2019esprit d\u2019entreprendre.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>ses auteurs se rendent-ils compte qu&rsquo;ils vont ainsi \u00e0 contre courant de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et singuli\u00e8rement de la vision id\u00e9ologique de ses dirigeants tant politiques qu&rsquo;\u00e9conomiques ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les exemples ne manquent pas de cette \u00ab\u00a0<em>soci\u00e9t\u00e9 humaniste<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb qui se d\u00e9shumanise, r\u00e9duisant ses membres, et singuli\u00e8rement les plus faibles, \u00e0 des objets de statistiques, des probl\u00e8mes ou des parasites.&nbsp;(<em><a href=\"https:\/\/asimon.eu\/blog\/societe\/bureau-de-chomage\/\">Bureau de ch\u00f4mage<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/asimon.eu\/blog\/societe\/les-uns-sans-les-autres\/\">Les uns sans les autres<\/a>,<\/em> <em><a href=\"https:\/\/asimon.eu\/blog\/belgique\/impitoyable\/\">Impitoyable<\/a><\/em> , &#8230; ) La lutte contre l&rsquo;\u00e9chec, le redoublement et le d\u00e9crochage scolaire est vue moins comme une d\u00e9marche humaniste visant \u00e0 assurer le d\u00e9veloppement harmonieux des personnes et \u00e0 \u00e9viter stress, d\u00e9couragement et, trop souvent, d\u00e9sespoir, que comme la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique de faire baisser les co\u00fbts. Quant au \u00ab\u00a0<em>respect de la diversit\u00e9 des histoires personnelles, des convictions et des origines culturelles de tous<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, il suffit d&rsquo;ouvrir un journal pour comprendre que ce n&rsquo;est pas le cheval de bataille des instances qui m\u00e8nent notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les &#8211; bonnes &#8211; intentions des auteurs du pacte sont donc peu ou prou vou\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chec, sauf \u00e0 imaginer de faire des diff\u00e9rentes parties prenantes de l&rsquo;enseignement des facteurs de r\u00e9volution sociale. Mais on sait que, par nature, une r\u00e9volution n&rsquo;est pas institutionnelle. La plupart des intervenants, \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur comme \u00e0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur du syst\u00e8me scolaire, sont plus ou moins impr\u00e9gn\u00e9s de la culture productiviste ambiante. Le m\u00e9rite d&rsquo;avoir formul\u00e9 des intentions reposant sur des valeurs humanistes n&rsquo;en est que plus grand &#8230; ou plus hypocrite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notre \u00e9cole va donc probablement r\u00e9former une partie de son fonctionnement; elle restera n\u00e9anmoins un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important de reproduction des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales et \u00e9conomiques tant que ce ne sera pas \u00e0 ces in\u00e9galit\u00e9s que l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;attaquera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les conditions: la relation d&rsquo;apprentissage.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Autre caract\u00e9ristique, le pacte n&rsquo;aborde qu&rsquo;en termes tr\u00e8s &#8211; trop &#8211; g\u00e9n\u00e9raux les caract\u00e9ristiques de la relation d&rsquo;apprentissage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;apprentissage est un processus qui rel\u00e8ve de l&rsquo;intime, profond\u00e9ment li\u00e9 aux \u00e9motions, dont on sait que les enfants et adolescents d\u00e9bordent. L&rsquo;enseignant, quant \u00e0 lui, ne peut \u00eatre r\u00e9duit \u00e0 une simple courroie de transmission, une \u00ab\u00a0machine \u00e0 enseigner\u00a0\u00bb priv\u00e9e d&rsquo;affects. S&rsquo;en tenir \u00e0 des aspects techniques sans aborder de front les conditions affectives dans lesquelles se d\u00e9roulent les apprentissages, c&rsquo;est courir \u00e0 &#8230; l&rsquo;\u00e9chec scolaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Que les tenants de l&rsquo;effort et de la discipline se rassurent: ceux-ci sont tout aussi n\u00e9cessaires. Mais leur mise en oeuvre est subordonn\u00e9e \u00e0 deux conditions trop souvent n\u00e9glig\u00e9es, la conscience du sens de l&rsquo;apprentissage et le plaisir qu&rsquo;il procure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le sens de l&rsquo;apprentissage, les adultes le voient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, m\u00eame s&rsquo;il n&rsquo;est pas le m\u00eame pour tous. Mais c&rsquo;est aux yeux des enfants et des adolescents que l&rsquo;apprentissage doit faire sens, et l\u00e0 on peut dire que la b\u00e2t blesse. Quand l&rsquo;adulte voit la vie avec le recul des ann\u00e9es, l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience, la r\u00e9flexion acquise au fil du temps, l&rsquo;enfant et l&rsquo;adolescent sont dans l&rsquo;imm\u00e9diatet\u00e9. Croire que l&rsquo;on peut donner du sens \u00e0 un apprentissage en disant \u00e0 l&rsquo;enfant ou \u00e0 l&rsquo;adolescent: \u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est pour ton bien, c&rsquo;est pour ton avenir, tu comprendras plus tard, quand tu seras grand\u00a0\u00bb, ou pire: \u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est comme \u00e7a, tu dois, c&rsquo;est la vie\u00a0\u00bb, c&rsquo;est le mettre d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part dans des conditions d\u00e9favorables. L&rsquo;alpiniste qui escalade une montagne, le ma\u00e7on qui construit une maison, le m\u00e9decin qui suit une formation ardue de sp\u00e9cialiste, le pensionn\u00e9 qui retourne sur les bancs de l&rsquo;\u00e9cole, ils savent pourquoi. L&rsquo;enfant qui doit apprendre le th\u00e9or\u00e8me de Pythagore, l&rsquo;accord du participe pass\u00e9 ou les capitales du monde ne voit ni o\u00f9 \u00e7a le m\u00e8ne, ni pourquoi on le lui impose. Et donc, souvent, ren\u00e2cle, ne cherche pas \u00e0 atteindre cette \u00ab\u00a0<em>excellence<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb dont se gargarise le pacte, et trop souvent abandonne. Des efforts, il est pourtant capable d&rsquo;en produire, et de s\u00e9rieux, mais il faut, imp\u00e9rativement, lui en donner les moyens. On appelle \u00e7a la motivation, mais en se contentant trop souvent de constater que l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve en manque, sans vraiment chercher \u00e0 la d\u00e9velopper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lier l&rsquo;apprentissage au plaisir, c&rsquo;est s&rsquo;assurer que l&rsquo;enfant mettra en oeuvre un maximum de ses ressources. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 la contrainte se r\u00e9v\u00e8le tr\u00e8s souvent inefficace, la recherche du plaisir peut faire franchir des montagnes. Nier \u00e0 l&rsquo;enfant le droit au plaisir d&rsquo;apprendre, c&rsquo;est se priver d&rsquo;un des leviers les plus puissants, de nombreux tests sur de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces animales, homme y compris, le prouvent abondamment. Ne pas utiliser ce levier, c&rsquo;est organiser les difficult\u00e9s d&rsquo;apprentissage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour l&rsquo;enseignant, dans des modalit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes, le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est identique: un enseignant qui ne voit pas le sens de ce qu&rsquo;il enseigne, qui n&rsquo;\u00e9prouve pas de plaisir dans sa pratique, est forc\u00e9ment inefficace. Et le cercle vicieux infernal s&rsquo;enclenche, \u00e9l\u00e8ves peu motiv\u00e9s qui d\u00e9motivent l&rsquo;enseignant qui, \u00e0 son tour, omet de donner sens et plaisir \u00e0 son enseignement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On touche l\u00e0 le fondement de la relation p\u00e9dagogique, la condition qui favorisera \u00e0 tous les coups une qualit\u00e9 d&rsquo;apprentissage maximale: la n\u00e9cessaire complicit\u00e9 entre enseignant et apprenant, dans une relation de confiance r\u00e9ciproque. H\u00e9las, cela ne se d\u00e9cr\u00e8te pas. Mais cela peut s&rsquo;organiser, s&rsquo;apprendre, se transmettre. Plut\u00f4t que de miser sur un investissement plus ou moins massif dans les structures, un pacte qui se voudrait efficace devrait viser avant tout \u00e0 une formation intensive de tous les enseignants, durant toute leur carri\u00e8re, aux pratiques relationnelles favorisant des conditions d&rsquo;apprentissage efficaces. En utilisant \u00e9videmment ces pratiques: quand il apprend, un enseignant est un apprenant comme un autre et a, comme tout apprenant, un immense besoin de sens et de plaisir. Il faut apprendre aux enseignant \u00e0 ne pas seulement dispenser un savoir, ou un savoir-faire, mais aussi, mais surtout, \u00e0 \u00eatre des vecteurs de sens et de plaisir. Les adaptations de structure, immanquablement, suivront.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une utopie ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Des exp\u00e9riences, des exemples, des tentatives existent \u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0, malheureusement toujours isol\u00e9es, et ne donnant pas lieu \u00e0 une r\u00e9flexion globale sur l&rsquo;enseignement.
